Due to the importance of your vehicle’s advanced safety system, you need a trusted expert with the capability of recalibration to ensure these camera enabled safety systems are operating at their optimal level.
When you make an appointment with The Glassman, you’ll be alerted if the vehicle needs recalibration services after a replacement. Different manufacturers require either a static or dynamic process and for some vehicles, both are required.
How Windshield Cameras are Calibrated?
We use one of two different calibration methods, depending your vehicle’s manufacturer recommendations:
- Dynamic recalibration means we drive your vehicle at a specific speed on specific roads and calibrate the cameras to road markers.
- Static recalibration means we mount a marker on the front of the vehicle while it’s sitting still, and calibrate the cameras based on the marker’s location.
Our technicians are trained to bring your ADAS system back into perfect working order and get you safely on the road as quickly as possible. Give us a call or get a free quote for windshield repair, replacement or camera recalibration.
